And we are LOVING it! We have completely enjoyed the passed couple of days. SUNSHINE:) makes us happy. We met some friends at the park Friday afternoon, then Cole and Saylee had friends over after school to play outside. Saturday we spent the afternoon cleaning the garage and playing outside some more. The kids wanted every toy out they hadn't seen all winter, they were in heaven. I don't know that Andrew will ever want to be in the house again, he loved it. The kids even had a picnic. John took Cole and Saylee to shoot clay pigeons, so while Drew slept Madi and I surprised everyone by putting up the trampoline. That is a sure sign of spring! They have enjoyed it for hours, and I can lock Drew in and he loves it too. Happy, sunshiny weekend!

It's Better To Look Up!
We had family night at my parents last week. The lesson was on Elder Cooks talk in October Conference, "It's Better to Look Up". My mom got everyone a balloon, and we were to think of a burden we have and let it go. It was fun to watch all our balloons go up and away, we even got the one burden unstuck from the tree branches! Love family night with our big family. We learn from each other and we love cousin time. Thanks Gram and Gramp for putting up with the whole crazy crew and teaching us!

Treehouse
Saylee had a field trip to the Treehouse, so Drew and I decided to have a date there too. Andrew was in heaven! He loved being FREE to rome wherever he wanted and TOUCH everything! Saylee liked that we were there, but that she was with her own group and got to do her own thing. She said her favorite part was the play they did that was a compilation of several stories (3 little pigs, little red riding hood, Goldilocks, etc.), it was very cute. I don't know if Drew had a favorite, he loved it all!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!
We had fun celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday! The kids had a read in and breakfast in the morning at their school. We spent yesterday making everyone "Cat in the Hat" hats. They turned out pretty cute and the kids loved them! We all got out the door on time this morning (even after I worked all night) and enjoyed a fun activity at 7:45 am! John took the kids last night to get drinks. Cole and Madi chose chocolate milk and Say chose Strawberry milk (Drew just got regular old milk). We had biscuits and honey nut cheerios. Cole got to have a read-athon at school. He wore his footy PJ's all day and took his quillow, body pillow and Star Wars Encyclopedia and a Magic Treehouse book and snacks. He said it was lots of fun. Saylee got to go on a field trip to the Treehouse museum. She was WAY excited. Madi got to go to preschool and learned more about Dr. Seuss and reading and rhyming. And Drew and I decided to go on a date to the Treehouse to play and catch some pictures of Saylee (more of that to come). Drew LOVED the museum! It was a fun-filled (snowy:() day. I think we'll have homemade pizza for dinner and watch a movie. Love these days!!!!

Happy Leap Day!
Happy Leap Day! I tried to think of something fun for leap day, but didn't get too far. I did get to do preschool for Mads and we made "leaping" frog puppets. Saylee loved all the frog crafts we came up with, and Drew helped with them too. Cole was happy to just "leap" off the couch. I asked all of them what they would do if they had an EXTRA day that they could do whatever they wanted. These were their responses...
Cole: "Make stuff. Like invent things."
Saylee: "Go to California and collect sea shells."
Madi: "Play Barbie's"
Drew: I will answer for him- climb and explore!

Getting Big!
They grow too fast!!! I know I say that all the time, but it's true! Drew especially seems to be getting bigger by the second. He has recently decided he is big enough to sit at the table and the bar (both counter height, and he has taken a few tumbles). He climbs up just like the other kids. He thinks he can do all the things they do. He is still obsessed with the potty, and has figured out how to go "peeps" whenever we allow him to get on it. He's constantly trying on our shoes, doing "crafts" (AKA eating crayons) with the kids, and climbing up to help me cook. Although he's not quite of age, he has been going to nursery for a few weeks and LOVES it! He goes in happy and has no trouble. It is much better than sitting through class with mom or dad! Just getting too big, love this little guy...
